La Mancha Gallery is honored to be hosting the Arts Pavilion 2018 at the 23rd Annual Central Avenue Jazz Festival!
La Mancha Gallery will once again be hosting for the 5th year in a row The Arts Pavilion at The 23rd Central Avenue Jazz Festival. A very large 60’x110′ foot tent that will house cutting-edge art from top artists in Los Angeles as well as live muralists. This year featured artist will be Mohammed Mubarak
Curated by Omar Holguin the selected artwork ranging from all sizes and mediums will include a live painting presentation by renown muralist and artist EnkOne, the magnificent fully functional cardboard sculptures of Ron Zeno, talented artists like Kevin T. Williams, Ngwachaku Ike, Darren Smith-Robinson, Buena Johnson, Richard E. Photography, Kraig King, Piece by Piece Nonprofit Organization, Nick “The Artist”, Mario A Hernandez, Crowned Artist, Wendell Wiggins and many, many more. There will be a voting booth on site to get people to register to vote.
Virtually all of the artists represented had personal and emotional connections to the neighborhood and the African-American jazz culture which had flourished there in decades past. Many artists participating have achieved widespread recognition, even worldwide acclaim.
