Pasadena, CA, November 18, 2015– Vision LA Festival 2015 is a month long festival that calls the attention of climate change throughout the world.  VisionLA’15 has been timed to coincide with the United Nation’s  21st “Conference of the Parties” on Climate Change (COP 21), and the concurrent Art COP21, a Paris-wide arts festival expressing support for a strong international climate treaty and positive, sustainable change.

La Mancha Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of “The Cardboard Sculptures of Ron Zeno” a two day exhibition of intricate cardboard sculptures by Los Angeles artist Ron Zeno on view at The Armory Center For The Arts is located at 145 N. Raymond Avenue, Pasadena, CA with opening hours from 12-5 pm.

This event will be curated by Omar Holguin, award wining curator and founder of La Mancha Gallery. A  featured  selection of imposing large  sculptures made from recycled cardboard,  from “The Eiffel Tower” to “The Titanic” all fully functional and ranging from different sizes. Ron Zeno uses his dedicated energy and discipline to cut and paste intricate and exact moving parts of a replica of the Titanic for example to cleverly highlight the energy to create the real thing.  The idea is accentuated by an emphasis on sustainability and recycled materials.

During the art exhibition VisionLA’15 will present a series of films and documentaries  with themes of climate action and social transformation made by independent filmmakers and artists shown at different times during the day.
