At La Mancha Gallery, we’re dedicated to capturing the essence of our clients’ stories through expert video production, bringing together top-notch direction, editing, and production skills. We recently had the pleasure of working with Freddie Saldone, a talented singer and composer with deep Argentinian roots, to celebrate the release of his second album, Nena Latina, under the iconic Rampart Records label. This project was a collaboration between several seasoned professionals: Directed and edited by Jimmy Velarde, produced by Hector A. Gonzalez and Jimmy Velarde, with co-production and camera work by myself, Omar Holguin.
Preserving Latin Heritage through Music
Freddie Saldone’s journey is an inspiring story of resilience and cultural pride. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he immigrated to the U.S. at a young age, settling in Chicago with his family. Despite their American surroundings, Freddie’s family preserved their heritage by instilling a strong sense of Latin pride and ensuring all five siblings remained fluent in Spanish. These roots have been a continuous source of inspiration for Freddie as he pursued his dream of music and acting in Hollywood.
A Journey Through Art and Entertainment
Arriving in Los Angeles at 24, Freddie’s passion for both music and acting drove him to dive into the competitive entertainment world. His hard work and commitment paid off seven years later when he landed his first professional acting role in the soap opera Days of Our Lives. Around this time, Freddie was also realizing his music ambitions by recording original songs with Rampart Latino Records, a hallmark label renowned for its support of Latin artists. His six-song EP, La Verdad (The Truth), features his unique sound, blending his cultural heritage with a modern touch.
Behind the Scenes of the Album Release Video
For the Nena Latina album release, we curated a video production that honors Freddie’s rich Latin roots while showcasing his evolution as an artist. By blending high-quality visuals, skilled audio production, and a passionate dedication to Freddie’s story, our team ensured that every frame reflected the vibrant culture and determination embedded in Freddie’s music. Working with a passionate team—Executive Producer Hector A. Gonzalez, Director of Photography, and Camera Operator, myself, Omar Holguin—our aim was to create a compelling visual experience that resonates with Freddie’s journey and dedication.
Our mission at La Mancha Gallery Events is to offer high-quality video production services that bring artist stories to life, blending our creative expertise with an unwavering focus on cultural narratives. With each project, we aim to provide a product that resonates with audiences and strengthens our clients’ presence.
